Elizabeth Hedge

My name is Madison Ashbacher and I’m a high school senior. I started acting in the spring of 2012, and I have acted in countless shows since. In my most recent show, I played Liesl Von Trapp in the Sound of Music in the summer of 2020. I have been teaching theater with Spotlight since the fall of 2017, and have since taught classes with multiple theater troupes. I will be pursuing a teaching degree in the fall of 2021. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, and I can’t wait to see where God takes me on this path.

Hi, I'm Elizabeth Hedge and I’m a high school senior. I started theatre in the spring of 2017, and I have taught theatre with Spotlight Productions since the fall of 2017. With over fifteen shows under my belt, I am excited to see what God has in store as I continue theater and pursue a theater degree in the fall of 2021.

Our goal this semester is to nurture kids through theatre and to teach them important skills for continuing  in a professional acting environment.  Goals include audition techniques, proper theater etiquette, and stage terminology. The lessons taught through the medium of theater are also valuable off-stage such as memorization, public speaking, and teamwork. This semester, we will be putting on a short 30-minute Christmas production that will showcase the acting ability and talents of each student. We hope and pray that each child will walk away feeling empowered.
